HAPPY DAYS Table Read Benefiting SAG-AFTRA Foundation ft. Henry Winkler and more!

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation partnered with PEOPLE to present a virtual table read of a 1975 episode of the beloved sitcom HAPPY DAYS as a benefit for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation.

To help commemorate the 27th Annual SAG Awards and raise critical funds for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, four-time SAG Award nominee Henry Winkler directed the HAPPY DAYS table read fundraiser and reprised his iconic role as “the Fonz.” Winkler was joined by several of this year’s SAG Awards nominees who stepped into new roles: Glenn Close (HILLBILLY ELEGY) as Marion Cunningham, John Carroll Lynch (THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO 7) as Howard Cunningham, Jamie Chung (LOVECRAFT COUNTRY) as Joanie Cunningham, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton (BRIDGERTON) as Marsha the waitress and Potsie, and Eli Goree and Aldis Hodge (ONE NIGHT IN MIAMI…) as Richie Cunningham and Ralph Malph, respectively. The group read the episode “The Motorcycle,” where Winkler’s Fonzie seeks revenge for the culprit who demolished his treasured bike.
