“These people, there are not just the passive victims of war.” We met with director Iryna Tsilyk to talk about her documentary film “The Earth Is Blue as an Orange”, screening in the 2020 Generation 14plus programme.
About the film: A budding cinematographer, Myroslava lives in the middle of the Ukraine warzone with her mother and three siblings. In defiance of her difficult daily life, she sets out to make a film with her family, one that can offer them new perspectives.
