The Don LaFontaine Voiceover Lab is a place of growth and development. The Lab fosters a vibrant community where voice actors can hone their craft, connect with industry professionals and build rapport with fellow actors. Many participants have successfully launched their careers, securing voiceover work and even establishing themselves within the industry after getting their start in the program.
“The Graduates” exemplifies this success and mission. Our featured actors Andia Winslow (‘A League of Their Own’), Paul Sanders (‘The Bayou’), Rebecca Davis and (‘Lego Friends’) have leveraged the Lab’s resources to build careers in voiceover and they want to share their journeys and insights with their peers.
Established in May 2010, the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Don LaFontaine Voiceover Lab serves as a cornerstone for aspiring and professional voice actors. True to the legacy of its namesake, Don LaFontaine, known for his generosity and mentorship, the Lab is dedicated to “paying it forward” by offering a wealth of educational and skill-building opportunities.
Moderated by Paul Pape, Don LaFontaine Voiceover Lab Co-Founder. This panel took place on July 30, 2025, at the Meryl Streep Center for Performing Artists in Los Angeles.
The Business panels provide multiple viewpoints from directors, producers, writers, agents, managers, casting directors and industry experts on a wide range of topics. Through this program, actors receive first-hand tips and strategies from established creators and leading professionals who know how to navigate the complex landscape of the entertainment industry.
The views expressed in the presentation materials and films, and by the guests and moderators are solely those of the organization and/or individual providing them and do not reflect the opinions of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, its staff or Board of Directors.
