One of the documentaries screening in this year’s Berlinale programme is covering a very unique topic: “Jill, Uncredited” by Anthony Ing (Berlinale Shorts) shines a spotlight on the background artists in film who mostly remain unrecognised.
In his short film, Anthony Ing not only pays a tribute to the background artist Jill Goldston, who has worked on countless films, but also presents a collage of fifty years of cinema and television history too.
In our clip the director reveals how he came up with the film idea. Also, the actor Jill Goldston tells the story of her unique acting career.
