A clip from “From Where They Stood” (À pas aveugles) by Christophe Cognet. With Christophe Cognet, Tal Bruttmann and Corinne Halter.

About the film: A handful of photos of concentration and extermination camps were taken by those imprisoned there. Cognet’s film reads these images as acts of resistance and uses them as a starting point for research in Ravensbrück, Dachau and Auschwitz-Birkenau.
