Last week, on Inside the Actors Studio with James Lipton, The cast and creator of Mad Men sat down to answer a few questions. The most interesting of which had to be when creator Matthew Weiner said some people didn’t think Jon Hamm was sexy enough to play Don Draper and that he had to audition six or seven times before nabbing the role. On a more serious note, Hamm said he draws on difficult childhood experiences to play the role of Don and that in many ways his father was a lot like Don Draper.
