Ryusuke Hamaguchi sent us this heartfelt reaction to winning the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize for “Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy” (Guzen to sozo) from Japan: “I am very, very honoured.”

Thanking the International Jury and highlighting his admiration for his actors’ performances, he says, “I feel that my amazement has crossed the ocean and been conveyed to you.”
